Differentiate Between Conflict And Disagreement
The sources of information are often different. Your source of information may be different from the other person`s. And this often creates different points of view. That is how there can be a disagreement. Misinterpretation and misunderstanding of different things such as nature, expectations, priorities can lead to conflict. Such behaviour causes similar defensive behaviour in the other person, and the conflict intensifies. If the conflict is not a deterrent, it can get so much worse that the problems themselves give way to a greater need to be “fair” or “win” against the other party. Problems that could have been solved very early are now compromised and complicated by poor communication and damaged relationships. Conflicts at this level are not only emotionally and physically painful, they do not help people get what they want — to turn their interests and be part of the solution. 2.External conflict – conflict between a character and an external force. On the other hand, if you and your spouse are in conflict, you make assumptions about each other and the feelings you have towards each other are negative and strong.
In a conflict, you do not speak; rather shouting, avoiding, accusing, talking to each other, etc. These measures fuel the relationship conflict. There is no negotiation in conflicts, no solution, and no use for the relationship. Now that the difference is clear, we can go further. Now let`s look at what causes conflict and differences of opinion. Being human, having disagreements, is natural. If you do not agree with someone, you have a disagreement because you and the other, you have different interests, values, needs and intentions. Disagreement with someone is not bad. It can be considered positive and functional as well as natural. Disagreement should not lead to a great fight. On the other hand, conflict is a strong collision or conflict of needs, values, interests and intentions between two individuals or communities, groups, nations and organizations. The unequal distribution of power plunges you into a situation of anger that can then turn into a major conflict.
Lack of communication between knowledge can lead to a gap that can lead to conflict. Conflicts differ from differences of opinion because of its result, which is generally negative. From time to time, conflicts can be useful, as opposed to harmful ones, and can lead to intentional contradictions that yield positive results and better dynamics. The manner in which the dispute is monitored determines the outcome. “The conflict between the government and the rebels began three years ago.” Most of us can think about how conflicts differ from differences of opinion.
